Four Paws Dorset Dog Max, visited the groomer. He goes to ‘The Original Posh Paws’ dog groomer.
Before and after pictures and Max saying ‘Hello ‘to one of the other doggies waiting his turn.
Max used to be quite nervous. This made him a quite unsociable. With reassurance and praise Max is a changed dog.
Very proud of you Max.
What a super Star!
The Original Posh Paws dog groomers can be found on my link page. Carol is brilliant.
Four Paws Dog Raffles out on our dog walk this morning!
Here is Raffles crossing the bridge over the River Allen, Wimborne. I keep Raffles on the lead as his lovely owner prefers him to be and Raffles is inclined to explore very close to the edge!
Raffles is a very happy dog and loves his daily walks, sniffing, exploring and meeting the others doggies.
Handsome Raffles!
Four Paws Dorset Doggies, making me Smile!
Megan, only being a 3 month old puppy shouldn’t be jumping up onto the sofa. This is because her bones are still growing and therefore more vulnerable. I just couldn’t resist taking the pic as she looked so innocent before I lifted her off. She knows!
Such a cheeky puppy and totally gorgeous!
Four Paws Dog Diesel being dried after his walk!
It poured with rain and Diesel was glad to get dried off as he prefers it sunny! Ah!
Soak this Cooling Bandanna in water and it thermodynamically wicks away heat from your dog as the water evaporates – perfect for hot Summer days.
Love this! Visit traininglines.co.uk for more details.
Four Paws Dorset Dog Oscar on our walk this morning by the River Allen in Wimborne.
Oscar is waiting for me to take his lead off so he can have a good sniff and explore!
What a good doggie sitting so beautifully!
Dogs die in hot cars.
Nobody ever thinks it will happen to them or their much loved family pet, yet every year many people still gamble with their dog’s life and every summer dogs die in hot cars.
Many people still believe that it’s ok to leave a dog in a car on a warm day if the windows are left open or they are parked in the shade. The truth is it’s still very dangerous and while not every dog left in this situation will die, at the very least they are likely to experience distress, discomfort and anxiety.
A car can become an oven very quickly even when it doesn’t feel that warm. When it is 22°c outside – within an hour – the temperature in a car can reach an unbearable 47°c.
It doesn’t have to be a hot day, it doesn’t have to be a car, and it doesn’t have to be a dog. We’ve seen dogs dying in cars but we’ve also, tragically, seen them lose their lives in conservatories. And while generally dogs are most likely to be affected, they are not the only one this applies to. Last year, a man was convicted for leaving his ferret in a car on a warm day. The ferret lost his life.

Tell me again what the Vet did to the dog!
Injured animals are frightened, in pain and may try to bite anyone who touches them.
If a dog is injured take all necessary precautions. Wear thick gloves and cover/wrap in a coat, blanket or towel.
