http://www.knollhouse.co.uk Knoll House on the south coast of England enjoys a unique position on the Dorset coast with views over Studland Bay and its famous three mile beach.
A traditional, family-run seaside hotel on the edge of the Jurassic Coast, we pride ourselves on a high standard of friendly cheerful service which caters to the needs of the whole family. We understand that dogs are part of the family too. They are particularly welcome and may sleep in rooms, on the floor, if bedding is brought. Our special dog’s meal is included in the nominal charge of £5 per day.
Stunning beach and country walks with plenty of rural smells from all the wildlife around us: squirrels, rabbits and deer. Older dogs can be exercised close by in our fields and wood. The only places out of bounds are the dining rooms, playground, pool and Health Spa. Special diets can be arranged. There are three small friendly house dogs who visit from time to time and like to meet new friends.
A dog’s paradise really. Excellent low season offers.

http://burnspet.co.uk/ How it all began… When I repeatedly saw the same pet health problems in my veterinary surgery I realised that there must be a common factor and research rapidly indicated that poor quality diet was at fault.
In 1993 Burns Pet Nutrition Limited was formed and John Burns’ range of premium quality Real Food for Pets was launched. As the name implies, Burns Real Food for Dogs, Cats and Rabbits are just that; simple foods which are intended to allow the body to function naturally. All of my pet foods are made from the highest quality ingredients and without any pharmacologically active supplements. The products aim to let the body get on with what it does best: maintain and repair itself and prevent deterioration of the organ systems.
I can personally recommends Burns. It is the only dry dog food option I will feed my Border Terriers. Go to the link to find out more.

The companionship of “man’s best friend” becomes even more welcome as people transition into their golden years. Beyond companionship, research has found that dogs can reduce feelings of loneliness, as well as be trained as assistance dogs for diseases specific to the elderly population, such as Alzheimer’s and dementia.
However, the responsibilities of dog ownership can overwhelm the elderly. A high-energy dog that would be perfect for someone with an active lifestyle might be too much for the less able-bodied. In order to find the ideal pooch, a unique set of criteria is used to reflect the different needs of the older generations.
To determine which breeds are the best fit for senior owners, the data scientists at PetBreeds ranked dog breeds based on the following factors …..
